This is Frankie, the baby bunny I’ve been taking care of for about a week. Unfortunately my dogs got to his sibling before I could, and Frankie was the only one we could rescue in time. He weighed two ounces, now he’s about four, and it’s time for him to get off milk entirely. He’s eating greens and likes grass and hosta leaves. I’ve been reading up all day about what the next step should be. I don’t know if I need to release him yet or if I should keep taking care of him until he gets a bit chunkier. It’s over 100 degrees outside, and I think I should plan on keeping him a bit longer until he’s a bit stronger. What a sweetie!
