Mercer&Wright

Here’s a little more information on the design firm of Mercer&Wright. Founded in the summer of 2010, Calum Wright and Gwendolyn Mercer made a pact to start an innovative and eco-conscious company specializing in one of a kind furniture, lighting, and home goods. The first official company meeting took place in March of 2011 where an exchanging of ideas sparked even more creative chemistry between the two. Since then, dozens of chairs, tables, shelves, desks, and lighting elements have been created between the two of them.

Starting in September of 2011, Mercer&Wright’s webpage and etsy store will feature their unique designs and ways to purchase their products. Gwendolyn Mercer and Calum Wright are also seeking collaborations with local Philadelphia artists and personal commissions. Prices estimated between $30 for smaller pieces to upwards of $4,000 for custom commissioned furniture.
